On a personal note: I have a few jobs around town to make ends meet and save my cash for a new camera and/or car. At the moment, I’m the assistant of photographer Duncan Davidson, who may qualify as the coolest boss ever. Yesterday, I spent about four hours working on a scanning project for a friend of his and we ended up going to the Daily for lunch.
Normally, I’m not a fan of allowing others to take photos of me, but I thought this one was a keeper. :)

The dress was thrifted from Savvy Plus, which is a local plus-size resale shop in PDX. I get all my favorite pieces from there, and their prices are insane. This gorgeous, 50’s-inspired blue number? $15. NOT JOKING. If you are ever in Portland, they’re the place to visit!
I end up befriending a neighborhood cat during pretty much every single outing.
