Jewelry

Technically, this isn’t about make up or beauty, I just really wanted to show off my totally rad jewelry hanger. It was made by my mom (NO JOKE, HOW COOL IS THAT??) from a window frame, white screen door mesh and vintage cabinet knobs. It holds all my necklaces (plus a few of Randi’s!) and all my dangly earrings.

I used a black ice cube tray from Ikea for another earring holder, thanks to a tip from Martha Stewart. The pouch on the bottom left is my jewelry travel case, also handmade by my mom. It has little pockets on the inside so you can store your pairs without them all getting mixed up. Freaking genius. Right now, it stores all my broken jewelry in need of fixing, as well as all my spare pendants. 

The pendant on the far, bottom left is a gift from my parents, it’s a man next to a t-rex skeleton. Yeah, it’s totally rad. The pendant on the far, bottom right is a gift from my mom and it’s a Man Ray photograph.
